May's Treasures

Adore, adore...

My little hand drying helper...

All kinds of adorable!

Teacher appreciation week; my brother sure knows how to make his sister cry...

Busy "fixing" his car, shoveling dirt in and out of it's engine compartment..,

Lunch at the park...

Isaac is seriously the best big-cousin around!

Two beautiful princesses...

Lego play time with grandma...

Where's Josiah?

Doughnuts!

This moment touched my heart so deeply...Gabriella always serves so selflessly.

Holding a tiny creature...

Finally, the finished product...a mini quilt for Gabriella's doll bed.

I need a black and white of this for bathroom decor, that face!

A little to tired this morning to sit up while waiting for mommy
to finish buttering toast for breakfast...

Bike Riding

Any chance these three get, they're out buckling snaps under chins and riding through the wind.

Portrait

Amongst my normal busyness around the house one evening, I just so happened to hone into a conversation between Gabriella and Mikey. It was being lead by Gabriella as she was directing Mikey to stand just so and kindly but firmly requested him not to move. Mikey was receptive and cooperative with her request. As it turns out Gabriella was busy drawing a portrait of him. Oh, how "lucky" I was to just so happen to stumble upon this.  I couldn't, just couldn't resist capturing the moment myself in hopes to remembering it for always.

These little ones make life so very sweet.

Oh my heavens, what an adorable little face!

The Well-Mannered Monster

This happening was one I couldn't resist documenting. There have been many a days I've stumbled upon this sweet, no-napping almost-four-year-old boy asleep in the early evening hours. Today was one of those precious days. He just could not resist the lure of sleep any longer and surrendered.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Phil

These kiddos love their Uncle Phil. They were so excited to celebrate his birthday and give him the awesome cards they made him. Uncle Phil was so sweet to share his lap with his little buddy the whole while. Josiah and he have such a special relationship and
I adore getting the chance to witness it.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Phil! You are the world's best brother, father, uncle and friend.

Quality Time

Life has its way of getting really busy. Too busy. Almost without you even knowing it's happening. It's been that way for us, for some time.  It was nice to slow down a bit today. I packed the kiddos lunches before we left for church and ventured out for time together after service.

The Amazing World of Insects: An Educational Maze

We recently finished a unit on insects while studying God's Creation and guess what this season's Educational Maze at Gillis Hill was on??? Yep, none other than INSECTS!
(God is so good. I just love how he lines things up for us.)

FIELD TRIP TIME!
I sure love these five kiddos! They are such a joy.

While they knew the majority of the answers to the questions, I was excited to see that they were astonished by a few new bits of information. One being the color of insects' blood.

The play space at the end of the maze, specifically the humongous sand pile, is always a greatly sought after and much enjoyed reward after making their way through.

Thank you for not making me choose one of the three pictures above..they were all so cute!
