We had a great time visiting the Kanna Alpaca Farm here in Fayetteville with our homeschooling friends. However, it wasn't quite the same as we weren't complete without one of our five. We sure missed Michael but we were so glad daddy was able to stay home with him as he continued to recover from being sick. We were also thankful that Grandma Cindy got to enjoy the trip with us.
It took Josiah quite a while to warm up but I'm so thankful he did. He really got a kick out of feeding the alpacas. Looking at the feed in the palms of his tiny hands was such a precious sight.
Afterwards we visited Gillis Hill to enjoy a picnic and some ice cream, of course. :)
I love, LOVE Gabriella's depiction of our visit to the alpaca farm. The picket fence, the hair on the alpacas, the rays of sunshine and those beautifully lumpy clouds. Perfect in every single way.
