Gillis Hill

We were really happy to have squeezed a trip to Gillis Hill Farm in before the family had to leave later this afternoon. We love that we can take our time touring the farm while enjoying each others' as well as the animals' company.

It looked as though those two kids, Josiah and the baby goat, were meant to be best buddies. :) At least for that very moment it did.

Mikey loved retelling the story of the saw mill to aunt Becky and uncle Andy.

The horse was ever so friendly today letting us feed, pet and take pictures with it.

One of my favorite parts about our little walk today was that Gillis Hill hadn't yet taken down a few items erected especially for their Easter sunrise service they had just the morning before. We were elated for the kids to have the chance to see such beautiful, meaningful moments up close.

The kids even did a little roll playing after finding and exploring the tomb on the stage. Isaac the guard, Alyana and Gabriella, the Marys and Mikey, Jesus. It was absolutely precious!
They are shouting "He's ALIVE!"
We sure had a wonderful time. Until next time, Gillis Hill.
