I'm not sure how and if celebrating was any fun before having kiddos.
Holiday celebrations come to life while watching the joy and amazement, excitement and wonder in their their little eyes. There's nothing quite like it.
Nana an Pop-pop invited us to join them in watching their neighborhood's fireworks and boy were we thankful! We were going through some serious withdrawals from not seeing them in almost two weeks and were very grateful for some quality time.
Nana, she is such a great nana!
Fireworks
See...Wonder!
Surprisingly, Josiah was the least bit afraid of neither the firework's sparks or even the larger one's startling sounds. He was very much amazed by them.
My 'Siah. My sweet boy.
The littles finished the evening off by watching the fireworks from the rec room inside.
Although the firework mishap was a little (a LOT) scary we had such a wonderful time watching the beautiful bright colors light up the night sky. What a wonderful way to be reminded of the amazing country we live in. We are so grateful for our inalienable rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Happy 4th of July!
