Every Wednesday, upon arriving to the library, the kiddos drop their books in the book drop, say good morning to the librarians (if I remind them to) and head off to the children's section to find their chosen books for the week. They have all become quite familiar with our library routine. Even Josiah has gotten the hang of it and goes about it in his own adorable, little way. It has all lead to some pretty interesting independence.
It was about time to round everyone up today when I noticed one of my five wasn't found roaming the aisles of the library but instead was close by enjoying himself a little quite time, thumbing through pages of a book...oh, my heart!
